ABOTA Thanks Judges Propes, Durkin and Evans
ABOTA-Illinois and the ABOTA Foundation thank Judge Lorna Propes, Judge Thomas Durkin and Judge Timothy Evans for speaking to social studies teachers from around the country on December 1, 2018, at the 98th Annual Conference of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). The judges were panelists addressing “The Third Branch: Challenges Facing the American Judiciary.” ABOTA was pleased to sponsor the panel discussion as part of its goal to further civics education and to provide support and teaching curricula for social studies teachers.
